Nepitella-flavoured Modica chocolate was born

The Nepitella and Syracuse lemon IGP flavored Modica chocolate was born. This is the latest idea resulting from the collaboration between Sabadì chocolate, by Simone Sabaini, and the Syracusan company Nepèta, producer of Amaro Nepèta.

Handcrafted and limited in number, Modica Nepèta chocolate, with fresh catmint leaves and Syracuse IGP lemon peel, is a chocolate in which the aromas and scents of Sicily are best preserved by cold craftsmanship.

The Modica chocolate bars flavored with Nepitella and Syracuse Lemon PGI, to be accompanied by a sip of Nepèta, are ideal for an after-dinner meal during winter evenings. Catmint, for the uninitiated, is a perennial herbaceous plant of the Labiates (Satureia calamintha), also known as calaminta or mint, common in woods and wild places; it has ovate leaves and small lilac flowers and is used in cooking as an aromatic ingredient.
